I recently found out that I have endo. I'm on the waiting list to have it removed sometime around Christmas at the QEII hospital in Brisbane. I'm pretty nervous but I can't wait to get it over and done with. At my hospital appointment, the Gyno told me that it will increase my chances of falling pregnant by around 50% which is huge! I spoke to my private Gyno and said to her that I want to keep doing IUI's until then because if by some miracle I do fall pregnant again, then I wont need to do the surgery. She agreed with me but I'm still unsure on how many I want to do because I don't want to be doing nothing but at the same time I don't want to be wasting money if IUI's are not going to work with the endometriosis. Ideally I would love to go straight to IVF after the Laparoscopy surgery before the endo even gets the chance to come back but financially I don't think it's going to happen just yet. I guess I'll just take it one step at a time and keep praying that everything will work out for the best.

I know how you fell ! It is so hard to stay possive when things happen one after the other ! I am glad you are not giving up ! That endo dose cause alot of problems ! Why are you going to wait till Christmas or is that just how long you have to wait to get in ?

Hi! I'm on the waiting list for a really good ObGyn that specialises in Endo lap surgery, he's really popular so that's why the waiting list is so long. It sucks, if I had the money then I'd pay the 3 or so thousand to have my ObGyn do it straight away cause I know she'd do a great job but I just can't afford it at the moment. xoxoxo

Well that's good if you are waiting for a realy good OBGYN I would be more comfrotable if I knew that they specaize in endo ! I how you get PG before that !!

I know! How great would it be if I did get preggo and didn't have to worry about the lap! He is supposed to be really good so I figure it's worth the wait. I'm still not sure on how many more IUI's to do in the meantime. I'm leaning towards 2 but I don't think I'll be able to stop there! lol! Part of me is kicking myself for even doing IUI's and spending the money when I don't even know if it has a chance of working but the other part is saying go for it cause it could save you from the opperation and what if the one month that I don't do it is the month that I would've fallen pregnant. I'm so sick of waiting around and not being able to do anything!!! AGHHHH!!!! Why couldn't I have been born a millionaire? Then I could have the Lap done tomorrow and do IVF with my next cycle! Anyway... enough venting from me, I'll figure it out eventually! I hope you are able to get a good sleep tonight for your lap in the morning.
