Hi all

Good to see that there is a support group.. sometimes it feels that I am the only one who can't conceive (all the people around me fall pregnant at the drop of a hat, including my twin who is having a second one)...

Sick of hearing "get drunk and it will happen", "go on holidays", "buy a house"... "you re not doing it right"...

My story is very simple.

I have had 5 early losses since October 2009 and I went to see my dr (a baby dr) yesterday who has requested a FBC and a blood test for lupus for me. Hopefully the FBC will pick up something but I am hoping it won't be anything too serious. I am a little worried about that one.

My husband was told just before xmas that he has a zero sperm count. I biopsy was done and they didn't find anything. Everyone keeps telling us to just accept it, we will have to use a donor or adopt. Adoption isn't an option as we wanted a baby not a 3 or 4 year old and after the waiting list and with our age restrictions this is all we would be able to adopt. My husband was also adopted and would prefer not to go down that road. Has anyone spoken to a counsellor before and does it help? We ...

I've started the metformin anyway because these tests can fluctuate with pcos. I have to be on it for at least 3 months before doing the next transfer so it looks like it will be mid April sometime. So far I haven't had too much trouble with the tablets but I'm only on 1 a day at the moment. We're going to slowly increase the dose every 2 weeks until I'm on 3 a day. Hopefully ...

I bought a saliva ovulation tester, used it for three weeks now, seems there is a little bit of ferning on quite random occasions. Will keep looking every morning. I have had a pregnancy once 10 yrs ago. Would be keen for Clomid if it came to that but not sure if GP's can prescribe in Queensland. Quite frankly am too poor ...

I'm happy with that though it's not really that many for how many follicles I had, it has me wondering if maybe I have a low egg reserve.
