Back on Metformin
I had my appointment on monday. It turns out that my testosterone wasn't high either (nurse was looking at old results). I've started the metformin anyway because these tests can fluctuate with pcos. I have to be on it for at least 3 months before doing the next transfer so it looks like it will be mid April sometime. So far I haven't had too much trouble with the tablets but I'm only on 1 a day at the moment. We're going to slowly increase the dose every 2 weeks until I'm on 3 a day. Hopefully I can handle it! I'll keep you all updated. Take care xoxoxo

Metformin
Hi Sarah
I've been on metformin for nearly 6 months and im taking 2 850mg tablets everyday. To begin with my stomach had a slight reaction but i dont have any problems now. Its funny, you would think i would be used to taking them by now but i still have to have reminders at work and at home. I keep thinking "I cant wait to stop taking tablets" but even if we do manage to get pregnant one day i will still have to take them for ages anyway.
Good luck with them!

Re: Back on Metformin
Hi! Are you on them for PCOS as well? I've stopped taking them now, we've decided to take a break for a while and concentrate on saving to buy a house. I've still got 5 frozen embryos left so as soon as we move I'll go back on them and start trying again. I got up to the 3 tablets a day and sort of got used to it but every couple of days I'd get an upset stomach, the good thing was that I dropped a bit of weight without even trying! lol! Wishing you all the best! xoxo
